Drywall & Drywall Repair in Buffalo & Amherst, NY
Most drywall calls are repairs, not new walls. A patch that has been feathered properly disappears the moment the wall is painted. A patch that has not will show under every light in the room for the next ten years.
What’s included
Repairs that disappear
Holes, cracks, popped screws and corner damage, taped and feathered wide enough that the repair does not telegraph through the paint.
Water damage
Damaged board cut back to sound material and replaced. Painting over a water-stained ceiling without fixing what caused it just moves the problem.
Hanging and finishing
New board hung, taped and finished, whether that is one wall opened up for a repair or a full room.
Ready for paint
Sanded and primed so the finish coat goes on evenly. Since we paint as well, the repair and the paint are one conversation instead of two trades blaming each other.
Common questions
Can you match my existing wall texture?
In most cases yes. Flat and lightly textured walls match reliably. Heavier or older textures are harder to blend invisibly, and we will tell you before starting if we think a repair will show, rather than promise something we cannot deliver.
Do you paint after repairing drywall?
Yes, and it is usually the better way to do it. A patch needs priming and often a full wall repaint to blend properly, so having one crew do both avoids the seam between trades.
My ceiling has a water stain. Can you just paint over it?
Not honestly. A stain means water got in, and until the source is fixed the stain comes back through the new paint. We will look at it and tell you what actually needs doing, even when that is a plumber or a roofer rather than us.
Do you charge for an estimate?
No. Estimates are free and carry no obligation. We walk the space, talk through what you want, and put the numbers in writing so you can compare them against anyone else.
