These terms cover this website — the pages, the photographs, and the estimate calculator. They are not the terms of a job. Work Benco carries out is governed by the written estimate you sign and by our workmanship warranty, not by anything on this page.

The calculator gives a ballpark, not a quote

It is an estimate, and it is not an offer

The painting calculator produces a rough figure from the measurements and options you enter. It is not a quote, not a bid, and not an offer we are bound by. Nothing you do on this website creates a contract, and no price becomes real until it is written down and signed after a walkthrough.

Why the real number moves

A calculator cannot see the walls. Surface condition, patching and repair, trim, previous coatings, access, and the grade of paint you choose all change what a job costs. That is the reason the walkthrough is free and the reason we do not ask for anything until after it.

The photographs and the words are ours

Every project photograph on this site is of work Benco actually carried out. They are our own photographs, not stock images, and along with the text, the logo and the layout they belong to Benco Remodeling LLC. Please do not copy them onto another contractor’s website, listing or advertisement.

Linking to this site is welcome and needs no permission. If you would like to use a photograph for something else, ask us — the answer is often yes.

Customer reviews shown on this site are real and are reproduced as they were written, other than being shortened where a quote is marked as an excerpt.

What we can and cannot promise about the site itself

  • We try to keep it accurate. Service descriptions, the areas we cover and the calculator’s assumptions are kept up to date as best we can, but this is a small business’s website and it can be out of date or simply wrong. If something here matters to your decision, ask us and we will confirm it.
  • We cannot promise it is always available. The site may be down for maintenance, or because something broke. If you need us and the site is not working, 716-97-BENCO always works.
  • Other people’s websites are their own. Where we link out — our Facebook, Instagram and Google listings — those pages are run by those companies under their own terms and privacy policies.
  • Please use it normally. Do not attempt to break into it, scrape it wholesale, submit the forms automatically, or use it to send anything unlawful. The contact forms are for people who want work done or want to work with us.

The website is provided as it is

This section is about the website. It does not limit anything to do with work we carry out on your home — that is covered by the estimate you sign and by our workmanship warranty, and nothing here reduces either of them or affects any right you have under New York law.

No warranty on the website itself

This website and everything on it — the pages, the service descriptions, and the estimate calculator — are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the calculator’s figures will match a real quote.

What we are not responsible for

To the fullest extent the law allows, Benco Remodeling LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising out of your use of this website — including anything that follows from relying on a calculator figure instead of a written estimate, or from the site being unavailable.

This does not exclude anything that cannot lawfully be excluded, and it does not touch our responsibility for the work itself or for anything caused by our own negligence on a job.

New York law

We are a New York business serving New York customers, and these website terms are governed by New York law.

Privacy, accessibility, and asking us things

What happens to the details you send is set out in our privacy policy. How the site is built and tested for people using assistive technology, and how to tell us when it fails you, is on the accessibility page.
